Since the activated carbon is a natural product, small carbon particles can wear off when they come into contact with water for the first time. Therefore, let the water run (approx. 180 seconds) until there are no longer any black carbon particles in the water. Accidental consumption of the particles is absolutely harmless, because your health will not be affected.

An activated carbon filter is already included in the scope of delivery of the HYPRO WATER, the filter is always replaced after 120 days or 2,000 liters (depending on which value is reached first). This means that an exchange is only necessary approx. 3x/year.

Your app reliably shows you the filter status at all times. In addition, the LED on the device lights up red when the filter needs to be changed.

The UVC LED unit has passed many long-term tests and has a lifespan of 10,000 hours. They don't need to be replaced. With 20 minutes of use per day, the service life of the LEDs corresponds to 83 years.
The only maintenance effort is the filter change, which has to be done 3 times a year. The exchange is very easy, you can watch our video here.

You don't have to remember an appointment, the HYPRO WATER will draw your attention to the filter change in good time. It has a built-in sensor that continuously measures the amount of water treated. Furthermore, the HYPRO automatically recognizes a filter and knows whether it is new or used.

Shortly before the flow of 2,000 liters of water or 120 days of use is reached, you will receive information via the app and a lamp on Device flashes red.

Grundsätzlich sollte der Filter nach 120 Tagen oder 2.000 Litern gewechselt werden. Je nachdem, welcher Wert als Erstes erreicht ist. Bei einer Kapazität von 2000 Litern ist gewährleistet, dass alle Schadstoffe sicher entfernt werden.
Die 2.000 Liter haben sich durch externe Zertifizierung ergeben.Bei längerer Laufzeit kann es sein, dass der Filter anfängt zu verkeimen. Deswegen sind die 4 Monate (120 Tage) von uns eine garantierte Sicherheit, dass der Filter in diesen 4 Monaten nicht verkeimt. Dann sollte der Filter gewechselt werden, da wir die zertifizierte Filterleistung sonst nicht mehr gewährleisten können. 

Erst einmal musst Du Dir keine Sorgen machen. Das Gerät filtert und desinfiziert weiterhin. Wahrscheinlich liegt ein Wackelkontakt im RFID Chip des Aktivkohlefilters vor. Das Gerät funktioniert aber einwandfrei.

Du kannst gerne probieren den Filter nochmal einzusetzen und dabei den Filter nicht nach unten zu drücken. Beim Zudrehen der Filterkammer wird der Filter automatisch in der korrekten Position platziert.

If the water flow decreases over time, this indicates that the use of a filter makes particular sense in your case. Your water seems to be heavily contaminated with particles such as iron or sand. The activated charcoal filter is then blocked (clogged) more quickly, so that the flow rate drops. In order to restore the original water flow, we recommend changing the filter before the end of 120 days / 2,000 liters.
